Ben Coleman - Executive Director
Ben Coleman has been racing bikes for over 20 years. He got his start in cross-country mountain biking at age 14, and has been racing across several disciplines, including cyclocross, ever since. He now focuses on endurance mountain biking, but his love for cyclocross and the associated community remains. In 2021 he founded Green Mountain Off-Road, Inc. and re-launched Green Mountain Cyclocross. Outside of cycling, Ben works as a speech and language pathologist, enjoys backcountry skiing, and lives in Williston with his wife, Kim, their two kids, and their enthusiastic border collie, Pepper.

Kim Coleman - Chief Clean Up Liaison
Kim Coleman is Ben Coleman’s right hand person. She jokes that her role at Green Mountain Off-Road is to walk behind Ben with an imaginary trash bag and pick up everything that falls off his proverbial plate, hence her title “Chief Clean Up Liaison”. In short, she ties up the loose ends. Kim is also a mom of two incredible little humans, wife to Ben, an elite cyclocross racer, and a college professor at SUNY Plattsburgh’s Center for Earth and Environmental Science. She loves a good, long coffee shop ride, especially the kind that involve lots of dirt roads, good friends, and donuts.

Tyler Cohen - Treasurer
Tyler Cohen is a writer, editor and adventure-focused cyclist who, come autumn, corrals his energy between the tape for a few weekends of cyclocross. He’s spent a decade working in outdoor media, writing and editing for titles like Outside, Mountain Flyer, Cross Country Skier and Backcountry, and when not working or riding, he enjoys doing trailwork, making pizza and scheming up long-distance bike rides. He lives in Jericho, Vermont, and races with the Barker Mountain Bikes shop team.

Joanne Grogan
Joanne Grogan is a tech geek 9-5 and a bike rider / racer / coach / advocate every other waking hour of the day. Originally from Ireland, Joanne moved to the U.S. in 2020 to follow her tech dreams—and her kayaking/biking/skiing dreams. She loves to ride, talk bikes, advocate for all things bikes and teach others how to love riding. When she's not figuring out how to squash tech bugs, Joanne can be found traversing Vermont's roads, rivers, forests and mountains as quickly as possible via foot, bike, skis or kayak.

Samantha Fox - Vice Chair
Sam Fox is a Ph.D. student, bike racer, cat lover, and fan of yeast risen donuts. She currently races track, cyclocross, and gravel for Pratt Racing. Sam’s Ph.D. work at the University of Vermont centers on developing digital biomarkers and therapeutics for improving human health and performance. When she’s not conducting valuable research or throwing down a million watts on her bike, you’re likely to find her cuddling her cat, Harry, and hanging out with her partner, Dan (who bakes a mean birthday cake).
